If it works out, he'll be the perfect backcourt partner to help push Anthony Edwards and the Wolves past their recent playoff ceilings.

Star pass rusher Joey Bosa is reportedly contemplating retirement at just 30 years old after a decade of battling injuries. In off-field news, the parents of former running back Doug Martin have filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging that excessive force and delayed medical care by police led to his death last year.

NBA

The basketball world is buzzing over Marina Mabrey of the Tempo, who just tied the WNBA single-game scoring record with an incredible 53 points (including nine three-pointers) in a blowout win over the Sparks. College Sports

The NCAA just passed a huge rule change that allows teams moving up to the highest level of college football (the FBS) to immediately compete in bowl games and the playoffs. Previously, schools like North Dakota State and Sacramento State had to sit out for a two-year waiting period, but that probation is now gone.

The US Men's National Team plays Turkiye in the World Cup today, though the stakes are pretty low since the US has already won their group and Turkiye is already eliminated. Over in tennis, legend Serena Williams is returning to Wimbledon for her first singles match in nearly four years, starting with a matchup against 20-year-old Australian Maya Joint. In the fighting world, UFC star Conor McGregor says he's rekindled his love for MMA ahead of his highly anticipated comeback fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329.
